George Edward Robison, 86, of Grandview, MO, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017. A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. A funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.
George was born in Fort Smith, AR on August 17, 1930, son of William and Francis (Flowerseed) Robison. He was a dock worker at Armour Meat Packing Company. He loved taking his children fishing, watching TV, the Royals, the Chiefs and sitting outside drinking ice tea. He is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Foster Robison in 2002; parents; daughter, Cheryl A. Robison in 1987; son, William D. Robison in 1999; and brother, Bob Robison.
His survivors include his children, Fred Blaker of Oak Grove, MO and James E. Robison of Grandview, MO; grandchildren, Ryan Robison, Jason Robison, Lisa Anderson, Nicholas Robison, Kyle Blaker, Trevor Robison, Nichol Robison, Shannon Robison and Eric Ross; and siblings, Matti Barton of Fort Smith, AR, Jerry of Seattle, WA and Christa Robison of Fort Smith, AR.
