Peggy Sue Self, 74, of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away Friday, November 18, 2016. A visitation will be held at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Monday, November 21, 2016 with a funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. also at the funeral home; burial in Valley Memorial Gardens, Grain Valley.

Peggy enjoyed crocheting, sewing, collecting dolls, and shopping. She loved garage sales, auctions, going to the casino, and watching The Price is Right. Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Self who passed on June 27, 2015. Her survivors include her 4 daughters, Kathie Schabel of Blue Springs, MO, Susan (Ed) Chiddix of Blue Springs, MO, Kim (Kent) McLaughlin of Lee’s Summit, MO, Shieri (Dale) Shelton of Oak Grove, MO; 12 Grandchildren, Jessica, Shelly, Jacklyn, Stephanie, Taylor, Kamryn, Kenny, Kallen, Eddie, Shawn, Destiny and George; 11 Great-Grandchildren, Kylie, Aubree, Austin, Chloe, Luca, George, Kourtney, Ella, Wes, Matthew and Derek; brother, Daniel (Janet) Hayes of Jonesborough, TN; and 2 sisters, Pattie (Cleo) McKarney of Lake City, TN and Sandra (Joe Hupp) Thompson of Johnson City, TN.
