Charlessa “Ann” Seward, 79, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 6th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Ann was born April 19, 1936 in Hannibal, Missouri. She worked for the VFW, where she did data entry. Ann enjoyed playing computer games, reading romance novels, and doing Sudoku puzzles. She loved cooking and family gatherings.
Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Seward in 1996; and 3 children: Edward Kever, Terry Cameron, & Jamie Cameron.
Her survivors include 4 children: Melvin Kever (Debbie), Lynn Clark (Ralph), Gary Cameron, and Brenda Bennett (William Welch); 12 grandchildren: Misty, John, Tammy, Dallas, Andrew, Krystal, Gary Jr, Jessica, Jackie, Amanda, Amy, and Michael; and 19 great-grandchildren.
