Kiyrah Reise Shineman, 15, of Independence, MO, earned her angel wings on March 28, 2019 in Kansas City, MO, surrounded by her family.
Kiyrah was born January 23, 2004 in Tampa, FL to Joseph Shineman & Jennifer House. Kiyrah loved butterflies, stuffed animals, doing arts & crafts, listening to music, playing her guitar, and she loved to sing and dance.
Kiyrah is survived by her father: Joseph Shineman & wife Misty of Independence, MO; her mother: Jennifer House of Tampa, FL; four siblings: Devin, Charlee, Hannah and Derek; paternal grandparents: Donna Burke & husband Jeff of Brandon, FL, and Robert Shineman & wife Tammie Shineman of Independence, MO; maternal grandparents: Diane Callaghan of Tampa, FL, and Tony House of Lexington, KY; step-grandparents: Chuck VanWye & wife Crystall of Kansas City, MO, and Sherry VanWye of Kansas City, MO; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2019 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home, Independence, MO, with funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations in memory of Kiyrah may be made to Children’s Mercy Hospital, 2401 Gillham Rd., Kansas City, MO 64108.
