Barbara A. Hallier


Barbara Anne Hallier, 81, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2020.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 5th in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Barbara was born on July 18, 1939, in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Ernest L. and Ethel P. (Love) Westerberg.  She was an elementary teacher for 35 years in Oak Grove and Odessa.  Barbara was a member of the Oak Grove Historical Society and the Missouri Retired Teachers Association and was a proud Democrat.  She enjoyed clogging, reading, traveling, baking, crocheting, collecting teacups and teapots, and especially loved her grandchildren and spending time with them.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Helen Burris.  Her survivors include two daughters: Loretta Kroesen (Andy) of Harrisonville, MO and Susan Battles of Sedalia, MO; two sons: Curtis Hallier (Vi) of Kalama, WA and John Hallier (Stacey) of Odessa, MO; eleven grandchildren; sister, Linda Barrow of Oak Grove, MO, and brother, Ernie Westerberg (Michelle) of Fort Worth, TX.
