Timothy Allan Stuart, 74, of Oak Grove, Missouri, died Monday, November 9, 2015 at home. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 4th at Bates City Restoration Branch on 40 Hwy, between Bates City and Oak Grove.
Timothy was born on May 22, 1941, in Kansas City, MO, the son of Gerald and Betty (Roberts) Stuart. He graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1959. Timothy married Sue Petre on October 28, 1960 in Independence, MO. He was an ordained minister and belonged to the Bates City Restoration Branch.
Timothy is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sue Stuart of the home; 4 children: Donna McCarty of Tekamah NE, Robert Stuart of Odessa MO, Roland Stuart of Blue Springs MO, and Angela Stuart of Clinton MO; 8 grandchildren: Kyle McCarty of Omaha NE, Lance McCarty of Omaha, James Stuart of Oak Grove, Ryan Stuart of Oak Grove, Jessica Stuart of Oak Grove, Jessica Gant of Pleasant Hill MO, Andrew Wheaton of Bates City, and Eva Meyer of Clinton; 3 siblings: Gerald Stuart, Patty Burton, and Roland Stuart, all of Independence MO; and 24 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Randy McCarty.
