Clint ”Pop” Thorpe, 66, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015. A celebration of life will be held at Crown Pointe Church, 5950 NE Lakewood Way, Lee’s Summit, MO on Monday, November 2, 2015 at 2:00pm.
Clint was born July 23, 1949 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of James and Marion Thorpe. Clint was such a strong man who loved his family. He was a man of God and an amazing husband, father and grandfather.
Clint is preceded in death by his parents, James and Marion; and his granddaughter, Aulani Thorpe. He is survived by his wife, Trish Thorpe of the home; 3 sons, Brandon Thorpe (Jen) of Overland Park, KS, Aaron Thorpe (Chelsey) of South Kansas City, and Ryan Thorpe of Lee’s Summit, MO; 1 daughter, Shara Thorpe of Blue Springs, MO; 9 grandchildren, Alyssa Applequist, Ana Applequist, Alivia Applequist, Julius Applequist, Maizie Thorpe, Lola Thorpe, Aden Thorpe, Mady Thorpe, and Sophia Thorpe; and 2 brothers, James R. Thorpe of Oklahoma City, OK, and Roger John Thorpe of Thorton, CO.
