William “Bill” Scott Trabon, 87, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 3rd in Floral Hills East, Lee’s Summit, MO.
Bill was born April 3, 1931, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Charles and Lillian (Cowley) Trabon. He married Betty Joan Leighty on December 15, 1950. Bill worked in the paint department at the Leeds General Motors Plant for 30 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Oak Grove. He enjoyed golfing, eating, and talking about his relationship with God.
Bill is survived by his wife, Betty J. Trabon of the home; two daughters: Sharon Brookshier (Tom) of Oak Grove, and Rebekah Trabon of Independence, MO; one son, William Trabon (Denise) of Gardner, KS; seven grandchildren: Brian Robinson, Bobby Brookshier, Brandon Trabon, Derek Trabon, Troy Trabon, Christy Hancock, and Alex Reese; and six great-grandchildren.
