Denzel Varner, 92, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Villages of Jackson Creek, Independence, MO. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 28th at Royer-Hays Funeral Home, Blue Springs; burial in Blue Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice.
