Ellin Lucille Young, 71, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 16th at Calvary Baptist Church, Blue Springs. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until service time at the church.
Ellin was born November 9, 1944, in Sacramento, California, the daughter of Leslie M. and Lucille J. (Higgins) Reed. She enjoyed reading books, crocheting, sewing, and spending time with her family.
Ellin was preceded in death by her parents. Her survivors include her daughter, Genia Hattey of Booneville, MO; two sons: David Young & wife, Jennifer of Kearney, MO, and John Young & wife, Stephanie of Blue Springs; sister, Sally Pozdalski of Burke, VA; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
