Rebecca D. Bozarth Beugin


Rebecca Dean Bozarth Beugin, 92, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.  Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 16th in Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak Grove, Missouri.  Memorial contributions may be made to Order of the Eastern Star, Oak Grove Chapter 407.

Rebecca was born December 10, 1928, in Odessa, Missouri, the daughter of Bennie and Emily I. (Hergemueller) Murry.  She was a librarian at the Mid-Continent Library in Oak Grove for over 25 years.  Rebecca was a member of the Oak Grove Methodist Church and a longtime member of the American Business Women Association.  She was a 67-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and part of the State Grand Representative Club, whose ladybug symbol is the reason Rebecca collected ladybugs.  She enjoyed crocheting, going to auctions and estate sales, and traveling.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Lee Bozarth in 1978 and Louis Beugin in 2006; a daughter, Sandra Meinershagen; son, Louis Beugin Jr.; brother, Vernon Murry; grandson, Christopher Baker; and great-granddaughter, Harper Meinershagen.

Her survivors include son, Terry Bozarth (Kathy) of Blue Springs, MO; daughter, Sheryl Baker (Michael) of Orange Park, FL; son-in-law, Gary Meinershagen of Blue Springs; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
