Lois M. Adair, 59, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away Monday, June 14, 2010 at Kansas City Hospice House after a 3 yr battle with colon cancer

Lois was born on April 6, 1951 in Fayetteville, AR, the daughter of James & Ethel (Angerstein) Smeltzer. 1969 graduate of Van Horn High School. She had been employed as an administrative assistant in the health care industry. Lois had previously worked  at Helzberg diamonds and Truman Medical Center. She was a very positive person who enjoyed a good time and was always the star of the party. she loved to sew. Lois  joy in her life were her Grandbabies.

Her survivors include a daughter: Kristen Dawson; a son: Chip Adair. Grandaughter Brook Dawson Grandson Chase Dawson. Sister Chris Garity and husband John.
