Linda Morales Sumpter, 60, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away at her home, surrounded by family, on Wednesday, March 31, 2021.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 8th at Royer Funeral Home in Oak Grove. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Linda was born August 29, 1960 at Providence Hospital in Kansas City, KS, to Joseph and Katherine Morales.  She attended St. Thomas Catholic Church and grade school, graduated from Bishop Ward High School and briefly attended St. Mary’s College in Leavenworth, KS.  Linda worked and retired from Owens Corning after 27 years.  She married Thomas Sumpter in 2002.  Linda enjoyed baking, sewing, crafts, and traveling.  But most of all, she loved her family and adored her grandson, Sebastian.  Linda was loved and appreciated by all of her family, as well as her extended family and will be greatly missed.  We will all cherish our memories.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Joseph Morales.  She is survived by her husband, Tom; daughter, Christine Sumpter (Jason Lowther); grandson, Sebastian; eight siblings: Joyce A. Folscroft, Charles R. Morales, Carmen M. Oropeza (Tony), R. Elizabeth Gonzalez (Bill Kennedy), Margaret J. Morales, Edward Morales (Jackie), Nancy J. Morales-Gonzalez (Chris), and David Morales; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and friends.
