Beverly Jo Transier Sisk, age 85 died of Cancer in her home on April 30, 2021 in Sibley, MO.  Visitation will be 12-1pm Wednesday May 5, 2021 with a funeral service to follow at 1pm at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home, Independence, MO.  Burial is at New Salem Cemetery. Rev. Paula Isgrig will officiate.

Beverly Jo Transier Sisk was born on September 23, 1935 to parents Maliga Joshua Transier & Gladys Beatrice Pace. She attended school in Dry Prong, Louisiana. She married Charles E. Sisk Jr. on June 28, 1950. They were married almost 71years and she was a loving mother to 3 children, Phillip, Carolyn and Steven Sisk.  Beverly was an active woman who was deeply devoted to her family. She enjoyed fishing, quilting, cooking, sewing and loved her family. 

Beverly Jo Transier was preceded in death by her husband: Charles E. Sisk Jr. of Sibley, MO; her son: Steven D. Sisk, of Sibley, MO; and her parents Maliga Joshua Transier and Gladys Beatrice Pace of Dry Prong, Louisiana.

Beverly Jo Transier is survived by her siblings: Emma Gene Transier Sisk of Sibley, MO, Geraldine Transier Brewer of Pocahontas, ARK, Jewel Marie Transier Beaver of Stilwell OK, John Michael Transier of Pollock, LA, Leonard Raymond Transier of Dry Prong, LA.; son: Phillip Sisk (Georgene) of Sibley, MO; daughter: Carolyn Joyce Mullins of Sibley, MO; four grandchildren: Tim Mullins (Shannon) of Sibley, MO, Kristi Sisk of Kansas City, KS, Brian Mullins (Amanda) of Sibley, MO, David Mullins (Ashley) of Sibley, MO and great-grandchildren, Ashton Mullins, Gage Davis, Logan Mullins, Kayden Mullins, Kendahl Bodenhamer and Kilee Mullins along with many other family members and friends.

Pallbearers; Tim Mullins, Kristi Sisk, Brian Mullins, David Mullins, Kayden Mullins, Andy Botts and Jeff White.
