James Leo Bailey, 61, of Blue Springs, MO passed away at St. Mary’s Medical Center Tuesday April 1, 2014.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday April 5, 2014 at New Life Assembly of God Church 801 SW 1st St., Oak Grove, MO. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made in James’s name to New Life Assembly of God Haiti Mission.
James was born May 27, 1952 in Kansas City, MO to Leo F. & Esther A. (Keller) Bailey.
James was a master tile setter and construction worker. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, golfing, bowling, watching sports and attending church. He is most well-known for cracking jokes and playing pranks on his family and friends.
James was preceded in death by his parents: Leo & Esther Bailey.
James is survived by 3 sisters: Connie Baldwin, Cathy Nichol & husband Larry, Becky Schrieber & husband Jack and his many nieces and nephews.
