Evelynn Ria Clark, 18, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Friday, August 16, 2013 at Children’s Mercy Hospital, Kansas City, MO. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 24th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Children’s Mercy Hospital.
Evelynn was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on November 12, 1994 to Josefina and Ronald Clark. Evelynn was the youngest of three sisters. Evelynn was special from the very beginning. Her smile would melt your heart and her laugh was, to say the least, infectious. Her ability to love unconditionally and to forgive any transgressions was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her. She would wait for her mother to come home from a hard day’s work and come spend time with her. The highlight of her day was the time she was able to spend with her family. A song, a sound or just giving her a big hug would set her off into a series of laughs, giggles or squeals of pleasure. When she felt ignored she would give you a hurt look that said “You need to be spending time with me and if you don’t, there will be trouble.”
Evelynn is survived by her mother Josefina Wimberley, her father Bob Wimberley, and her two sisters, Carmelita and Caroleena Clark.
