Lina Ann Colston, 85, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at Oak Grove Nursing & Rehab in Oak Grove, Missouri.  Per her request, no formal service is being held.  A Celebration of Life will be held in April.

Lina was born September 10, 1932, in Mt. Olive, Illinois, the only daughter of Kurt and Ella (Wizard) Liebscher.  She studied at St. Joseph Catholic Nursing School in Alton, IL, and graduated as an R.N.  She worked many years in hospitals, doctor’s offices, and Juvenile Hall.  Lina married Charles William Coston Jr. of Alton on January 14, 1954, and they had three children.  She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, sewing, and traveling the United States and Canada in an RV.

Lina was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles, in 2009.  Her survivors include her children: Charles “Bill” (Clarica) Colston of Odessa, MO, Cindy (Tom) Cummings of Topeka, KS, and Chris (Tracey) Colston of Roscoe, IL; four grandchildren: Candace, Meghan, Derek, and Jillian; and four great-grandchildren: Sapphire, Marissa, Madden, Maverick.
