Gertrude “Rosealma” Gray, 92, of Independence, MO passed away June 4, 2021.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday June 7, 2021 at Salem Cemetery; Independence, MO.

Rosealma was born April 24, 1929 in Kansas City, KS to Thomas J. & Gertrude (Wiltfong) Gray. She was a lifelong resident of Independence, MO. Rosealma retired after many years from Union Pacific Railroad in 1989.

Rosealma was preceded in death by her parents: Thomas & Gertrude Gray; son: Charles Gray; 3 brothers: Thomas Gray, Freddy Gray, Robert Gray; 3 sisters: Marjorie Hutchinson, Mary Ann Brock, Lola Maupin.

Rosealma is survived by 4 grandchildren: granddaughter: Velora Cory of Deerfield Beach, FL, grandson: Rocky McClaury of Olathe, KS, Ashley Gray of Kansas City, MO, Charles Gray (Jessica) of Independence, MO, 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
