Margot R. Anchors, 90, of Grain Valley, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at her home. She will be cremated. There will be an inurnment in Brooking Cemetery, Raytown, MO, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Heartland Hospice, 1001 E. 101st Terrace, Ste. 180, Kansas City, MO 64131.
Margot was born on October 29, 1916, in Independence, Missouri, the daughter of William and Marian (Hinde) Russell. She was an analyst at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant and retired from there after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don L. Anchors, in 1989.
Margot is survived by a daughter & son-in-law: Donna & Phil McMillin; One brother: William Russell; One sister: Fem Curtis; Three grandchildren; Eight great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
