Cheryl L. Dobson, 59, of Grain Valley, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City, MO. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 5th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO; burial in Valley Memorial Gardens, Grain Valley. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 4th at the funeral home. Cheryl was born on October 20, 1950 in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Merlin & Dolores (Stange) Trometer. Prior to retiring, she had been a Program Analyst for the Federal Aviation Administration. Cheryl enjoyed retirement life at home with her family and friends.
Her survivors include a daughter: Chanal Todd & her husband, Chad; a son: Derek Strandburg & his fiancé, Angela Clark; her parents: Merlin & Dolores Trometer; and many aunts & uncles.
