Arthur “Bud” Drummond, 64, of Grain Valley, Missouri, passed away Friday, October 15, 2010 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Blue Springs, MO. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 20th at Church of Jesus Christ Colbern Road Restoration Branch, 9525 Main Entrance Drive, Lee’s Summit, MO 64086. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 19th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the church.
Bud was born September 12, 1946 in Leon, Iowa, to Dwayne and Donna (Fisher) Drummond. He owned and operated Drummond Inspection Service. Bud was an Elder at Colbern Road Restoration Branch, a hospital Chaplain, and an avid reader.
His survivors include his wife, Mary of the home; a son: Michael Drummond & his wife, Leanna of Eddyville, IA; two daughters: Kelly Genners & her husband, Dan of Ottumwa, IA, and Kristin Burdick & her husband, Lanny of Portland, OR; his parents: Dwayne & Donna Drummond of Keosauqua, IA; a sister: Claudia Boyer & husband, Ron of Connell, WA; two brothers: David Drummond & his wife, Kathy of Farmington, IA, and Doug Drummond & his wife, Carol of Ottumwa, IA; and four grandchildren: Austin, Jessica, Skylar, & Jaden.
