Bedford Parker “Jack” Durham, 86, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Oak Grove Nursing & Rehab. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 10th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Oak Grove Restoration Branch. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time at the church. Contributions may be made to the church.
Jack was born August 16, 1928, in Dover, Arkansas, the son of Bedford and Berdie (Mize) Durham. He married Lela B. Blankenship in January 1950 and she preceded him in death in June 2007. Jack was an insurance agent, retiring in 1995.
Jack’s survivors include two sons: Hank & Christina Durham of Oak Grove, Hal P. and Bridget Durham of Olathe, KS; two daughters: Judy & Charles Triplett of Sibley, MO, Jackie & Harry Porter of Odessa, MO; two brothers: Samuel Durham & Roy Durham, both of Melbourne, AR; three sisters: Martha, Josephine, & Joyce; thirteen grandchildren: Matt, Cindy, Jacob, Jordan, Breanna, Brailey, Scott, Shaun, Shane, Zachary, John, David, & Erin; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
