David Eugene Dye, 61, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Monday, January 29, 2007 at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 3rd at Noland Road Baptist Church, Independence Missouri. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Noland Road Baptist Church, 4505 S. Noland Road, Independence, MO 64055.

David was born on June 23, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Eugene W. and Frances (Kimbrough) Dye. He was a 1963 graduate of Clinton High School. He served in the Navy from 1963 to 1969. David was a member of Noland Road Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father; his sister, Judith Ann; and his son, Brian.

His survivors include: his mother: Frances Dye of Clinton, MO’ two sons: Rod Dye & his wife, Mindy of Southaven, MS, and Brad Dye & his wife, Angie of Blue Springs, MO; one daughter: Heather Hays & her husband, Scott of Grain Valley, MO; nine grandchildren: Kaylee, Carter, Callen, Caeleb, Sierra, Zoe, Hadley, Taylor, & Travis; two nephews: Scott Robinson & Todd Riley.

David was a loving son, dad, papa & friend. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
