David Wayne Fitch, 50, of Grain Valley, Missouri, passed away on August 10, 2007 at his home. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 13th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the family to defray final expenses. There will also be a memorial service and inurnment at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 17th at Twin Creek Farm, Nat’s Creek, Kentucky.

David was born on February 7, 1957, in Grundy, Virginia, the son of Jerry Lee and Bernice (McKinney) Fitch. He married Debra S. McCormick on September 1, 2001. David was a truck driver for a coal mining company.

His survivors include his wife, Debbie Fitch of the home; three sons: Cody Fitch of the home, Anthony and Benjamin Fitch of Kentucky; his parents: Jerry Lee & Bernice Fitch of Nat’s Creek, KY; two brothers: Delbert and Charley Fitch, both of Kentucky; four sisters: Sherry Miller of Huntington, WV, Teresa Clark of Virginia, Lynn and Lisa Fitch both of Nags Head, NC; three step-children: Mark Farrell, Valerie Maynard, & Jamie Puskarich; and 5 step-grandchildren.
