Connie K. Fundenberger


Connie Kay Fundenberger, 47, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at home, after battling pancreatic cancer.  Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Blue Springs on Sunday, June 14th at 4:30 p.m., with a memorial service following at 6:30p.m.

Connie was born January 17, 1968, in Clinton, Missouri, to Henry Park and Kay Park.  She married Timothy Fundenberger on February 15, 1997.  Connie was a stay-at-home mom and the most important things to her were her children and her family. She enjoyed reading scripture, Bible study, and journaling. Her hobbies included gardening and landscaping.

Her survivors include her husband, Timothy Fundenberger; 2 children, Emma and Henry Fundenberger; siblings, Tammie Park and Keith Park.

The purpose of EMBRACE is to build families through the miracle of adoption and to show God’s love to the world’s orphans and waiting children. Our desire is to develop authentic relationships with the fatherless by sharing our resources and skills to improve their quality of life and to minister to their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. EMBRACE exists to 1. Educate the church regarding God’s heart to orphans and waiting children. 2. Encourage the church to provide for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of orphans. 3. Equip families that respond to God’s call to adopt or foster through support before, during and after that process.
