Kelly Lea Gresham, 55, of Independence, MO, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014, at KU Medical Center after suffering from a long illness.
A native of Independence, Kelly was born on September 4, 1958 in Kansas City, the daughter of Merritt & Helen Henry. She graduated from Ft. Osage High School in 1976. Her father preceded her in death in 2002.
Kelly’s survivors include her mother, Helen Henry; two daughters Lindsey Smith & significant other Jackson McEldery, and Erin Bridges & husband Joe Bridges; six grandchildren: Alexis & Katelyn Smith, Cole McEldery, and Joey, Jordan, & Jamison Bridges, all of Independence; one sister, Kimberly Olson & husband Steve Olson of Davenport, IA; one brother, Patrick Henry of Independence, niece Bethany Stamps, nephews Sean Griffin & Derek Parker, and former husband, Richard Gresham.
Services will be Wednesday, June 3 at New Salem Funeral Home, Independence, MO – Visitation will be 11 am-1 pm with funeral services following at 1 pm; burial will follow at New Salem Cemetery.
