Barbara Elaine (Kratzer) Bezemer Griffin, 57, of Oak Grove, MO passed away on Friday, July 14, 2006 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Blue Springs. Memorial services will be Tuesday, July 18th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley: Visitation from 6:007:30 p.m., Memorial service at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to a fund to be established for the care and support of Barbara’s minor child, Cheyenne.

Barbara was born on October 12, 1948 in Independence, MO, the daughter of Truman & Marian (Parker) Kratzer. She was employed in the productions department of Lyon’s Die Casting in Buckner. Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Truman Kratzer, a brother, Richard Kratzer, and her first husband, Richard Bezemer.

Her survivors include three daughters: Tonya Shelton of Blue Springs, Christie Griffin of Kahului, Hawaii, & Cheyenne Craig of the home; one son: Gary Bezemer of Oak Grove; her mother: Marian Kratzer of Independence; one sister: Sandy Harms of Schell City, MO; and six grandchildren: LeeAnn Bezemer, Andrew Bezemer, McKenna Shelton, Laken Shelton, Gavin Shelton, and Emerson Shelton.
