Richard A. Hack, 67, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Friday, June 28, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 3rd at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak Grove, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 2nd at the funeral home.
Richard was born May 15, 1946, in Passic, New Jersey, the son of Jacob and Anna Rita (Hansen) Hack. He graduated from Raytown South in 1964. Richard served in the U.S. Army. He retired from Western Electric, where he worked as a tool and die maker. Richard was a member of American Legion Post 499 in Blue Springs.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents.
His survivors include his sister, Rita Boyce & her husband, Michael; brother, Jacob Hack; six nieces & nephews: Steven & his wife Teri, Cynthya, Shahan, Ross, Melissa & Janessa; three great nieces & nephew: Dallas, Madison & Braden; and his companion of 12 years & his Missouri family: Bess Martin; her children, Deana & Chad; and grandson, Jarrett.
