Sally Ann Hennes age 48 of Independence, Missouri passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Services will be held on Friday December 22, 2017 11 a.m. at the New Salem Funeral Home in Independence, Mo. The family will greet friends from 10 a.m. till the service begins. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery also in Independence, Mo.
Sally was born on October 17, 1969, she enjoyed traveling loved Colorado and was able to go to New York for her last birthday. When she was a young girl she was able to live in Germany and even traveled to Trier, France. She never met a stranger and was full of life. Sally was bubbly and energetic and lived her life to the fullest.
Sally is survived by her parents, Jane and Ed LaMastres of Independence, Mo. sister: Wendy Vunovich of Independence, Mo. fiancée: Mike Bolkenstyn of Independence, Mo. three children: Curtis “CJ” Popplewell, Elisha Popplewell both of Georgia, and Samantha Popplewell of Illinois, paternal grandmother Kay LaMastres of Independence, Mo. and one uncle: David LaMastres.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
