Frank Roger Hofstetter, 54, of Grain Valley, Missouri, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Shangri-La Rehab & Living Center, Blue Springs, MO. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 27th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 26th at the funeral home. Frank was born on July 13, 1955, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the son of Leonard H. and Marilyn (Rogers) Hofstetter. He retired from the United States Navy in 1993, after 20 years of service. During this time, he served in the Vietnam and Persian Gulf Wars. He attended First Baptist Church in Lexington and Grain Valley. Frank loved to fish and loved his music.
Frank is preceded in death by his father and one brother, Bill Hofstetter.
His survivors include his mother, Marilyn Hofstetter of Lexington, MO; two daughters, Michelle & Alana of Bel Air, MD; a son, Justin Hofstetter of Kansas City, MO; the mother of his children, Linda Howell; three brothers, Joe Hofstetter of Estes Park, CO, Jim Hofstetter of Grain Valley, & Hank Hofstetter of Ottumwa, IA; and many nieces, nephews, & friends.
