Mildred Hostetter


Mildred was born May 17, 1919 in Levasy, MO, to Luther and Eugenia (Borgman) Ryan. She and her husband worked together on their farm.  Along with being a wonderful mother and homemaker, she was a very creative person who loved to make quilts and porcelain dolls, and painted various oil paintings.  Mildred belonged to the Queen City Quilters and Ebeneezer United Church of Christ in Levasy, MO. 

   Mildred was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Elmer T. Hostetter; her son, Gary Wayne Hostetter; brother, Eldon Ryan; and sister, Bernita Mulligan.

   Survivors include daughter, Gail Roberts and husband Bob of Liberty, MO; son, Glen Hostetter and wife Sherry of Sibley, MO; sister, Nadine McQuerry of Independence, MO; five grandchildren: Barry, Kristi, Jeremy, Joseph and Heather; and five great-grandchildren: Kasey, Alexa, Jacob, Talia and Sawyer.
