Charles “Chuck” Leon Gennings, 65 of Kansas City, MO passed away August 8, 2021.
Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 a.m. Monday, August 16, 2021 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home; Independence, MO. Celebration of Life to follow at 11:00 a.m.
Chuck was born February 13, 1956 in Kansas City, MO to Lawrence & Nora (Arnold) Gennings. He loved to work in his garden. Chuck was a die-hard Chiefs fan. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents: Lawrence & Nora Gennings; brother: Lawrence Ray Gennings; sister: Lois Ann.
Chuck is survived by his children: Renee Bullard (Donald) of Independence, MO, Charles Gennings (Marsha Sterling) of Independence, MO, Jennifer Gennings (Bret Cooper) of Independence, MO, Brian Gennings of Independence, MO; grandchildren: Zachary, Leland, Lillie, Dakota, Dalton, Madison, Mariah, Brian, Joey, Jordan; great-grandchildren: Braxton, Paisley; sisters: Tereasa, Sherly, Linda all of Independence, MO.
