Patricia Jane Jones, 76, of Grain Valley, MO passed away surrounded by family at her daughter’s home on the morning of Thursday, June 5, 2014.
In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Jones’ family has requested donations be made in her name to the Child Abuse Prevention Association located at 503 East 23rd Street South, in Independence, Missouri, 64055.
Pat valued family and honesty above all else. She had a special relationship with each of her children and grandchildren and never left anyone wanting for her true opinion. Pat’s memory will live on through the many stories of her strength, sarcasm, and determination that her family will surely tell for years to come.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Lillian Stiles, and her brother David Stiles. She is survived by two sisters, Ruthie and Peggy, and a brother, Michael.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 57 years, Thomas Jones, along with their three sons, Raymond Jones, Dennis Jones, and Thomas Jones, daughter Tracey Gamble, 13 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
