Mary A. (Cuda) Knox 97, of Oak Grove, MO passed away Monday June 3, 2013 at Oak Grove Nursing Home and Rehab. Visitation will be 12:30 – 2 p.m. Thursday June 6, 2013 at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Mary was born August 26, 1915 in Kansas City, MO to Joseph & Mary (Bonacore) Cuda. Mary was born and raised a Catholic and was also a Baptist. She married Rudy Knox on Sept 29, 1945. Mary was a homemaker.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Rudy Knox in 1984; 3 brothers: Albert Cuda, Arthur Cuda, Robert Cuda; 3 sisters: Lucy Cyda, Lorraine Cuda, Virginia Clark.
Mary is survived by her son: John Knox of Liberal, MO; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother: Charles E. Cuda of Kansas City, MO; 2 brother in laws: Jack Clark of Overland Park, KS, Bill Terrill of Lone Jack, MO; several niece and nephews and a niece and caregiver Cathy Smith of Oak Grove.
Officiant will be Bret Pritchard. Pallbearers will be: Rudy Knox, Tony Knox, Zachary Knox, Roger Vansel, Randy Smith, Bobby Cuda.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jim Cuda, Randy Smith, Ben Cuda, Joe Cuda, Mike Clark, Carl Cuda, Charles V. Cuda.
