Betty Faye Laughlin, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away April 25, 2010 at Oak Grove Nursing & Rehab. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Friday, April 30th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO; burial in Blue Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time.
Betty was born December 12, 1933 in Tuscumbia, Missouri, to Claude and Clara Burris. She married Bill on January 1, 1953. Betty was an employee of Dillard’s before retiring in 1988 and was a member of First Baptist Church of Blue Springs.
She is survived by a daughter and her husband: Vicky & Tom Henson of Blue Springs; a son: Randy Laughlin of Blue Springs; two brothers: Dewey Burris of Eldon, MO, & Don Burris of Warrensburg, MO; five sisters: Mary Buster of Lee’s Summit, MO, Beverly Buster of Raymore, MO, Marsha Martin of Olean, MO, Marla Burris of Eldon, MO, Carolyn Pollitt of Holt Summit, MO; four granddaughters: Vanessa Callaghan, Deret, Madison, & Sydney Laughlin; one grandson: Conner Laughlin; and three great-grandchildren: Aidan, Grace, & Starlynn.
