Christopher Wayne Lightfoot, 50, of Higginsville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015. There will be a gathering for family and friends from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. Sunday, July 12th at the home of Mary Watterson, 1105 NE Walnut Street, Higginsville.
Chris was born July 30, 1964, in Kansas City, MO, the son of Alvin and Lucille (Barger) Lightfoot. He was a mechanic, doing small engine repair. Chris was a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and hunting partner.
He is preceded in death by his father, and his beloved partner, Jo Watterson.
Chris is survived by his mother, Lucille Lightfoot of Harrisonville, MO; brother, Anthony Lightfoot of Lee’s Summit, MO; son, Michael Lightfoot of Raytown, MO; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
