Fred S. McClellan, 82, of Buckner, MO passed away Friday, January 6, 2012 at Village House at John Knox Village.  Visitation will be 6:30-8:00 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2011 at Royer Funeral Home; Grain Valley, MO. Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2011 at the funeral home; burial in Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Grain Valley, MO. Fred was born November 17, 1929 in Milo, MO to Doris and Buella (Chad) McClellan.  Sixty-Five years ago, Fred married Opal Nadine (Powell) on January 17, 1947. Fred was a 25-year employee of Andes & Roberts Construction.  He was owner of Fred McClellan Foundations. After retirement Fred worked for Trailside Campers in Grain Valley, MO. Fred loved to hunt, travel and camp.

Fred is survived by his wife Opal McClellan of the home; son: Randy and wife LaDonna McClellan of Branson, MO and their children: Ciara McClellan and Savannah McClellan; two daughters: Sharon and husband Glenn Rogers of Concordia, MO and their children and grandchildren: Eric and wife Michelle Rogers, Kendra and husband Tony Malizzi, Luke and Lilly Malizzi: Beverly and husband Roger Stock of Napoleon, MO and their children and grandchildren: Stacey Williamson, Emma and Cole Williamson, Shannon and Mike Zykan, Brilynn and Blake Zykan, one sister: Sylvia Sheppard. Fred was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers: Robert McClellan and Rufus McClellan.
