Gary Eugene Taylor, 55, of Lexington, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.  Cremation with private family services.

Gary was born July 30, 1966, in Independence, Missouri, the son of Harvey Dean and Margret Fae (McDaniel) Taylor.  He served his country in the United States Navy.  Gary was an over the road truck driver for over 25 years.  He was a very smart man but made some bad choices.  He was stubborn but had a heart of gold. Gary enjoyed fishing, joking around, and he laughed like a hyena.  Most of all, he loved his children and grandchildren.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Christopher Taylor; and a daughter, Bethany Taylor.

His survivors include daughter, Amanda Taylor; sons, Donovan Taylor and Darrin Taylor; grandsons, Dayton Taylor and Brody Taylor; brother, Jimmy Taylor; sister, Donna Zwickl; and several nieces and nephews.
