Joshua John Joseph Neidholdt, age 35 years old, of Grain Valley, Missouri, passed away Sunday afternoon, 13 October 2013 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Blue Springs, MO.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, 19th October at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1416 S 19th St, Blue Springs, MO 64015; burial in Valley Memorial Gardens, Grain Valley. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.

Joshua was born 13 May 1978 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Douglas E. and Sandra J. (Wheeler) Neidholdt.  Joshua was one of those noble spirits who came to earth protected by an imperfect body that the World could never touch.  Joshua had Cerebral Palsy that required him to have total physical care during his mortal life.  Joshua had a special spirit which was felt by all who knew him.  During Joshua’s lifetime his quiet example of spiritual humility and acceptance of his Father’s will would constantly teach, challenge, and change the lives of all who knew him.  His family and friends look forward to the day when they get to embrace this giant of a man in a perfected resurrected body.

His survivors include his parents, Douglas and Sandra Neidholdt of the home; three brothers: Carl Neidholdt of Grain valley, Jesse & Lisa Neidholdt of Blue Springs, & Lehi Neidholdt a returned Veteran going to school in South Daytona, Florida; and grandparents, Wilbert and Shirley Wheeler of Highland, Illinois.
