Larry V. Nichols, 68, of Napoleon, Missouri, passed away December 26, 2009 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Blue Springs, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 30th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO; burial in Valley Memorial Gardens, Grain Valley. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Larry was born March 11, 1941 in Chamois, MO, the son of Thomas James and Della Rachel (Roux) Nichols. He married Velma L. George on July 3, 1964. Larry was a member of the Methodist Church in Chamois, MO. He was an avid hunter & fisherman.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years: Velma L. Nichols of the home; four sons: Tommy Nichols of Jefferson City, MO, Jeff Nichols & his wife Elizabeth of Napoleon, MO, Brian Nichols & his wife Lesha of Buckner, MO, and Todd Nichols of Wichita, KS; and one sister: Lois Estep & her husband Willis of Jefferson City, MO.
