Betty Jean Oberbeck, 86, of Oak Grove, MO passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013 at St. Mary’s Manor. Memorial Contributions be made to St. Mary’s Manor, Activity Fund. 111 NW Mock Ave, Blue Springs, MO 64014. Cremation. Burial of ashes will be at a later date.

Betty was born February 6, 1926 in Los Angeles, CA to Floyd & Helen (Keller) Hewett. Betty was a homemaker and a hospital volunteer. Betty was preceded in death by her parents: Floyd & Helen Hewett.

Betty is survived by 1 daughter: Sandy Powell & husband Owen of Oak Grove, MO; 2 sons: Ronald Shaw & wife Arlene of Temple, TX, Glenn Shaw & friend Cal Jacobs of La Quinta, CA; 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
