Norma Delene Pierce, 81 years, of Grain Valley, Missouri, born January 3, 1933, to parents Marvin and Evelyn Parker, passed from this life to eternal life on December 11, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 15th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until service time. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 16th in Valley Memorial Gardens, Grain Valley. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Delene is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Evelyn Parker; a brother, Marvin Dale Parker; and a son, Stephen C. Pierce. Delene is survived by her husband of 65 years, Clayton Pierce; a son, David and his wife Linda Pierce; a daughter, Shari and her husband Randy Anderson; a daughter-in-law, Roberta Pierce; and a sister, Jenine and her husband Max Bacon. Delene had 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
