Martha May Plumlee age 92 of Waynesville MO passed away on Wednesday May 30, 2018. Services will be held Monday June 4, 2018 1:00 p.m. at the New Salem Funeral Home in Independence, MO. Visitation will start at 12:00 p.m. till the start of the service. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens also in Independence.
Martha was born on September 19, 1925 in Liberty MO. the daughter of Henry Elvin and Ethel (Arnold) Martin. Martha enjoyed croqueting, craft making, the outdoors, fishing and birds. She was a member of the Ozark Tabernacle Church. Most of all she loved family and talking about her grandchildren.
Martha is survived by five children, Ken (the late Donna) Plumlee of St Robert, MO. Shirley (Bill) Cox of Warsaw, MO. Roger (Debbie) Plumlee of Warsaw, MO. Judy (Mark) Horton of Jane, MO. and Sandra (Larry) Cahill of Indianapolis, IN. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gene Plumlee, on son Johnny Wayne Plumlee, two grandchildren, Kenny Edward and Mary Christine Plumlee, one sister, Eva Castell and three brothers Lee, Lloyd and John Martin.
