William “Bill” Robinson, 86, of Oak Grove, MO passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013. Visitation will be 1-2 pm Friday, January 18, 2013 at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO. A Graveside Service will be 2:30 pm Friday, January 18th at Lone Jack Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Community League Service of Oak Grove.

Bill was born August 12, 1926 in Farlington, KS to Joseph E. & Mathilda (Stemplowsky) Robinson. He was a Carpenter by trade. Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Bill married Norma L. Marble on January 27, 1949. Bill was a member of the Oak Grove Legion. He enjoyed watching western movies, and loved playing cards. Bill never met a stranger. He loved spending time with his family especially his granddaughter and great-grandson.

Bill preceded in death by his parents: Joseph & Mathilda Robinson. Bill is survived by his wife: Norma Robinson of the home; 2 daughters: Cheryl Mills & husband Ron of Blue Springs, MO, Sheila Carrillo & husband Bob of Oak Grove, MO; 1 sister: Josephine Othman of Olathe, KS; 1 granddaughter: Tracy Jones & husband Daniel of Lee’s Summit, MO; 1 great-grandson: Graham Jones.
