Helen Kay Daniel, 84 of Independence, MO passed away October 27, 2021.
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home; Independence, MO. Celebration of Life service will follow at 2 p.m. Inurnment to at Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to City Union Mission.
Helen was born October 27, 1937 in Buckner, MO to Archie & Roberta (Adams) Alleman. She was a proud graduate of the first graduating class of Ft. Osage High School. Helen loved serving the homeless. She was a life long resident of the Buckner/Fort Osage community.
Helen was preceded in death by her son: Steven Myers; granddaughter: Rebecca Myers; parents: Archie & Roberta Alleman; sisters: Flora Lee McGaughey, Betty Stone; brothers: Jim Alleman, George Alleman.
Helen is survived by 2 sons: Allen Myers of Blue Springs, MO, Tony Myers (Judy) of Peculiar, MO; 4 daughters: Kelly Rice (Phil) of Lee’s Summit, MO, Mindy Golden (Tom) of Hatboro, PA, Julie Gall of Independence, MO, Michelle Reed of Independence, MO; 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
