Kenneth Donald Self, 76, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015. A visitation will be held at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 with a funeral service on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 10:30am.

Kenneth was an automotive assembly line worker at GM for 13 years, a licensed mechanic and he loved to be outside.  He is survived by his wife, Peggy Sue; 4 daughters, Kathie Schabel of Blue Springs, MO, Susan (Ed) Chiddix of Blue Springs, MO, Kim (Kent) McLaughlin of Lee’s Summit, MO, Shieri (Dale) Shelton of Oak Grove, MO; 8 Grandchildren, Jessica, Shelly, Jacklyn, Stephanie, Taylor, Kamryn, Kenny and Kallen; 4 Great-Grandchildren, Kylie, Aubree, Austin and Chloe; sister, Ruth Ann; and brother, Dicky Lee. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Mabel Self; 2 brothers, Junior and Jerry; and 1 sister, Helen.
