B. Keith Shrout, our beloved husband, father and friend, passed away on March 21, 2013. He was born Sept. 30, 1923 to David Hurst and Marie Marybelle Shrout, Grain Valley, MO. He met his best friend and sweetheart, Jean Elouise Stumpp in grade school were married for life in 1944.
He proudly served our country in the Air Force during WWII. Keith devotedly served the Lord throughout his life. He was passionate about education, teaching and learning therefore spent decades in school systems throughout Missouri and Guam. He was a graduate of William Jewell and CMSU.
Keith is survived by his wife, Elouise; children: Sharon Stathopoulos (Frank), Charles David Shrout (Nancy); 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Keith was preceded in death by his parents and grandson James C. “Chris” Payton.
Graveside service: Tuesday, 10:30 am March 26, 2013 at Blue Springs Cemetery, Blue Springs, MO.
