Jean Elouise Shrout, 90, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Independence Manor Care Center. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 8th in Blue Springs Cemetery, Blue Springs, MO.
Elouise was born July 25, 1923 in Oak Grove, Missouri, the daughter of Charles F. and Sadie Marie (Mann) Stump. She worked at Little Blue Press. Elouise loved crocheting, quilting, and spending time with her family.
Elouise is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby Shrout; and grandson, Chris Payton.
Her survivors include daughter, Sharon & Frank Stathopoulos; son, Charles David & Nancy Shrout; three grandchildren: Rick & Jennifer Shrout, Angie & Bryan Rose, Krissy & Carlos Mason; and nine great-grandchildren: Austin Shrout, Keegan Shrout, Brandon Rose, Tyler Rose, Shelby Rose, Jaden Mason, McKenzi Payton, Bailey Mason, & Taelor Mason.
