Connie Jo Simpson age 72 of Buckner, MO passed away on Saturday October 8, 2016. There are no services scheduled with an inurnment at New Salem Cemetery Independence MO at a later date. Memorials may be made to Crossroads Hospice or Breast Cancer Awareness.
Connie was born in Kansas City MO September 13, 1944 the daughter of David Eron Roberts and Willa Mae Copeland. Connie married James V Simpson on October 2, 1965 in Independence MO. She was a fabulous artist, enjoyed drawing and reading. Connie worked as an Auditor at Harmon Electronics for many years and was a “Political Rebel”.
Connie is survived by her daughter: Kacee (Jeff) Davis, and son: Brian (Amanda) Simpson both of Buckner, MO. 8 grandchildren: David Simpson Jr, Ashley and Austin Bly, Corey, Justice, Kaydance, Kaitlyn, and Bonnie Simpson. A Great grandchild: Adrienne Raine Cooper is expected January 22, 2017. Her brother: Roy “Red” Denny, 3 nephews, and 2 nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James, oldest son David Simpson, and brother: Rick Jones.
