Ross Karl Hendrickson, our loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather passed away peacefully at home on May 14, 2020 at the age of 96.

Ross was born in Payson, Utah, on April 10, 1924 to Arthur Fredrick Hendrickson and Edna LeBaron Hendrickson, the sixth of eight children. During his high school years, Ross was president of the Utah State FFA and loved his pig and cow that he raised as FFA projects. As a result, he received a scholarship to Utah State University. Ross married the love of his life Janell Cooper on August 4, 1943, in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they raised seven children and lived in many cities in Utah and Wyoming. Ross and Janell had a special love for the time they lived in St George, Utah. Janell had a long-term illness and Ross was a loving caregiver for many years. Ross was a very loving man and had a very special sense of humor. He loved to travel by car, camp, had beautiful flower and vegetable gardens, frequently remodeled the houses he lived in, and was a friend to all the people he met. Ross leaves a legacy of love of family, the value of hard work, and gentle kindness. He was a faithful member of the Church of a Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where he served in many capacities.
Ross was preceded in death by his sweetheart Janell Cooper Hendrickson, daughter Lynda Boulette, daughter-in-law Mary Lou Judd Hendrickson, and grandson Scott Hendrickson.
He is survived by his children: RK (Ross Klair), Steven (Nancy), Michael, Delwyn (Diane), Todd (Rebecca), Traci Stine (Ron), and son-in-law Bill Boulette; 21 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
His wisdom and love will truly be missed. A memorial service will be held at a future date in Utah. Ross will be laid to rest next to Janell in the Santaquin, Utah, cemetery.
